Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) wishes to advise members of the public that traffic will be managed under stop / go arrangement on the Ba Bridge from 6pm to 6am on the 25th and 26th of June to cater for maintenance works.

These works are urgently required to protect the exposed expansion joints from any further deterioration and also improve the transition at both ends of the bridge deck. Maintenance works include cleaning of the abutment joints, milling of asphalt concrete surface, installing plate covers and reinstating asphalt concrete with ramps to the plates.

FRA contractor will require a single lane closure, and when required, the bridge will be fully closed at controlled intervals of 15-30mins due to lack of lateral safety zones.

FRA is requesting motorists to strictly adhere to the signs placed and follow the directions of the traffic controllers to ensure the safety of other motorists and workmen alike.

Members of the public travelling along this area to take this notice into account when finalizing travel plans. FRA wishes to apologies for the short term inconvenience.  For further queries please call FRA on 5720
