Five suspects who robbed and assaulted a 41 year old taxi driver on Sunday (12/5/13) were arrested and are currently in custody under interrogation.
The suspects hired the taxi from Queen Elizabeth Drive and robbed the driver of $60.00 cash and Nokia phone valued $300.00.
Police are advising taxi drivers to be cautious of whom they chose to pick and if they feel unsafe at any point in time to drive to their nearest community post or police station and seek assistance.
