TOP VANUATU RESORT SAYS SPTE IS A MUST DO EVENT

With only a couple of days to go before the inaugural South Pacific Tourism Exchange kicks off on Thursday this week in Auckland, tourism sellers from all over the South Pacific are heading to Auckland ready to sell their offerings to some of the world’s leading travel wholesalers and retailers also heading to Auckland.

One of the region’s top sellers, Liza Walsh, Director of Sales and Marketing at leading Vanuatu resort Warwick Le Lagon Resort and Spa is also heading to Auckland and Liza told John Alwyn-Jones that SPTE was a must do event for her and a tremendous opportunity for the Warwick Le Lagon to promote itself in a true South Pacific context.

Warwick International Hotels was launched in 1980, representing a collection of distinct, upscale hotels and resorts known for quality throughout the world with over 55 hotels on five continents, with all of the hotels renowned for our exceptional locations and remarkable stories to tell, including the Warwick le Lagon Resort & Spa in Vanuatu.

With the Manhattan New York Warwick Hotel at its core, built by tycoon William Randolph Hearst for the love of his life, actress Marion Davies, it became a Manhattan icon, the Warwick Le Lagon no less exciting in its idyllic Vanuatu lagoon side location.

SPTE 2014 is taking place at the Pullman Hotel in Auckland, New Zealand on the 22 & 23 May 2014 and is attracting the participation of international wholesalers from around the world including North America, China, North America, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand and sellers from throughout the Pacific, with 16 Pacific Island countries represented at the event through their National Tourism Offices, airlines and private sectors operators.
