Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s President, Mataiasi  Nabau aims to host next year’s tournament on a much more higher note, after it has uplifted the standard of rugby within local rugby clubs.

Also part of the Nawaka Rugby Union, Nabau said the tournament is also a boost for them.

“We are planning to raise the standard of rugby in another five or six years time, with the help of Nawaka 7s and its mission of developing rugby from grass root level,” he said.

Nabau said they will try and improve the standard and facilities of the ground at the Prince Charles Park.

“We will need to liaise with the Nadi Town Council to work on the availability of power supply in the grounds,” he said.

Nabau also confirmed, the Paradise Beverage team has offered to sponsor the sevens tournament again next year.
