Fiji Roads Authority is advising travelers to Namosi to exercise caution on the road when travelling in and around the area.
Dale Nicholls Fiji Roads Authority Maintenance Works Manager says “as a result of rain, some bus routes in the area are considered not suitable for buses to travel on. This comes after a team from our consultants and contractors travelled to inspect the roads. It is important to note that our crews are working to have these roads improved through additional metaling in time for Wednesday” .
Bus services including the Tacirua scheduled trip from Suva- Namosi-Naraiyawa trip may be temporarily affected as a result and as always, the ultimate decision on whether any road is safe or not must always rest with the vehicle drivers as conditions can change rapidly during periods of rain.
