Valve Replacement Works Will Cause Water Outage In Parts of Suva 12/04/14

The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) advises its customers residing in some parts of Suva that there will be an interruption in supply from 10pm-5am Monday, April 14.

During this interruption, valve replacement works will be carried out on Malcolm Street/Gordon Street Junction on a 100mm branch valve and also on Marion Street/Bau Street junction on a 200 mm branch valve.

Due to this, there will be water outage in the following areas:

–          Bau Street/Laucala Bay Rd junction to Bau Street Macgregor Rd Junction

–          Serua St

–          Holmes St

–          Short St

–          Carew St

–          LeHunte St

–          Richards Rd

–          Knolly St/Bau St junction

–          Holland St junction

–          Riley St

–          Pender St

–          Disraeli Rd

–          Berry Rd

–          Marion street

–          Desvoeux Rd

–          Normanby Rd

–          Williamson Rd

–          Mitchell St

–          Denison Rd

–          Maafu St

–          Clarke St

–          Holland St

–          Amy St

–          Gordon Street

–          Hercules Street

–          Goodenough St

–          Loftus Street

–          Thurston Street

–          Gorrie Street

Customers are advised to store water for their immediate needs during this disruption period.
