Training has been well underway for the national sevens winger Samisoni Viriviri after the 21-member squad national 7s team had marched into camp today.

Speaking to The Jet Newspaper during the Fiji Bitter Nawaka 7s at the Prince Charles Park in Nadi, last week Saturday, Viriviri said he would be glad to play at the upcoming Hong Kong 7s.

“I have been preparing very well for the Hong Kong 7s. I have been training very hard so that I perform much better from Wellington and Las Vegas sevens,” he said.

Viriviri said the recent changes to the team won’t the harm the performances of the team, since every player has the capability.

“The replacement of Ragamate and Laqai will not be a problem, as there are a lot of other players will have the capability for filling in for them,” he said.

The team is expected to be named early next week.

The Hong Kong 7s will be played from the 22nd to the 24th of this month.
