The Warwick Fiji and the Naviti Resort, both in the heart of the popular coral coast holiday destination, have continued to support the local community as they value the contribution and commitment of each member of the team.

On Thursday, 1st October 2015, the General Managers of The Warwick Fiji, Mr. Brad Downton and Mr. John Duxbury, of Naviti Resort, on behalf of Warwick International Hotels, donated a much needed cardiac monitor and defibrillator machine to the Korolevu Health Centre.

Mr. Downton said that “the aim was to provide the Korolevu Health Centre with the life preservation equipment necessary to assist in emergency cases with immediate care and attention before being transferred to better facilitated district hospitals.”

Dr Dass of the Korolevu Health Centre said “Thank you to the GM’s and everyone at The Warwick Fiji and Naviti Resort for their generosity in helping the Health Centre purchase this vital equipment.

The cardiac monitor and defibrillator machine now provides our patients with the best chance possible during the critical stages of resuscitation, providing effective information, enabling staff to focus on performing other vital tasks.”

This sentiment was echoed by Divisional Medical Officer Mrs. Susana and acting Sub Divisional Medical Officer, Dr. Amos who was also present at the handover.

Over the years, the two Warwick properties, have contributed significant funds to community projects under the Coral Coast Chapter of Fiji Hotels Tourism Association.

These significant initiatives for the people of the neighbouring communities by The Warwick Fiji, Naviti Resort and Tambua Sands highlights the commitment and positive growth envisioned, not only for resort, but the wider communities for many years to come.
