Wedding on Fiji’s First Submarine

A wedding company in Fiji and Australia has taken weddings in Fiji to the next level; “Fiji Bridal Services” and “I Do Fiji” are finding innovative ways for those yet-to-be couples who want something from the ordinary for their wedding.

The wedding which was setup on the deck of the country’s first submarine on last Thursday, saw an Australian couple from Adelaide exchanging rings on a yet-to-be launched submarine, “The Sea View” 18 meters in length and 4.2 meters in wide which can cater for 50 people on board, docked at The Port Denarau Marina in Nadi.

Justin Schaller and Alita Milton the newly wedded couple who met on the social networking site, Facebook six years ago, were overjoyed on the occasion. “We have been planning for such a paradise wedding since 14 months and what a way to end it , we certainly are not disappointed, we love everything about this country, the people, the beaches the food, “It’s truly heaven”,” Mr and Mrs Schaller said.

Fiji Bridal Services and I Do Fiji are a fully fledged wedding agency based in Australia who set up dream wedding for couples who want their special day to be captured and remembered always.

Director Sam Prasad said that the idea was very simple, people want a getaway from everything, Office, work, sticking to one routine and what better way to then Fiji?, Our weddings are planned in Australia and executed in Fiji wherever the couple wants to.

He added that everything was organized by the company, and not all Mr Prasad said that he used all Fijian made and local products for his wedding arrangements in Fiji, from the food till the flower arrangements all was done locally as he believes in supporting Fijian Made Products.
