Weekly Weather Summary

Fine and dry weather was experienced over the west this past week with very little rain to report. Light showers associated with a series of cloud bands resulted in the weekly accumulation of 30mm for Monasavu. The highest 24 hour rainfall accumulation for Monasavu was 13mm on the 13th of August. Humidity and temperature were up a little compared to previous weeks but latter half of the week saw mild to warm days while the nights remained cooler.

Weekend will be cooler as south to southeast wind changes pushes over the country, otherwise fine sunny weather over the west followed through next week. No sign of any significant rain bearing weather system affecting the west of Fiji at this time.
