A shock win over Army sees Yadrana remain atop the Premier Grade with 91 points after five weeks of matches in the Suva Cricket Association’s club competition.
Hot on their heels are the BSP Titans on 82 points, also remaining undefeated for the season so far after another win over Komo. Despite both their losses over the weekend, Army and Komo are tied for third place with 51 points apiece. Rounding out the Premier Grade table are VICC, who recorded their first win for the season over Sarafui and are now sitting on 41.5 points, closely followed by Moce 2 on 40.5 points, and Sarafui and Ono-I-Lau, who are tied on 36 points.
In the A-Grade only one match was completed this weeknde due to the unavailability of the Fiji Sports Council Cricket Ground. The Punjabi Tigers recorded their sixth straight win for the season, this time over fellow newcomers the BSP Warriors, and now sit on a whopping 119 points, streets ahead of their competition at the top of the A Grade points table.
The remainder of the A Grade standings are as follows: Suva Grammar School Old Boys’ (71.5 points), BSP Warriors (61.5), Oneata (60), Give Me The Mountain (50), Heilala (45.5), Covenant Brothers (37), Moce 1 (27.5), Nasaqalau (21.5), Police (10.5).
