Gold Medal Awarded to Cham Books on Behalf of Woo Myung, Best Selling Author and Founder of Maum Meditation, at 17th Annual IPPY Awards in New York
Woo Myung, Best Selling Author and Founder of Maum Meditation, to Be Awarded Gold Medal for Award Winning Book, “Stop Living In This Land, Go To The Everlasting World Of Happiness, Live There Forever”
Many events will take place to help kick off the Book Expo America in New York this week. Among those will be the 17th Annual IPPY Awards Ceremony to be held at the swank Providence in Midtown on May 29, 2013.
Cham Books will be in attendance to receive an award on behalf of Woo Myung, bestselling author and founder of Maum Meditation, the main author of Cham Books. Woo Myung’s latest book, “Stop Living In This Land, Go To The Everlasting World Of Happiness, Live There Forever” won Gold in the Inspirational/Spirituality category.
Cham Books feels it is a great honor to win the gold, beating out the many great books that were also submitted.
According to the IPPY website, “This year’s competition attracted 3,650 entries in the national categories along with 1,150 regional entries and 440 e-book entries for a total of 5,240 total entries. The medalists represented 44 U.S. states plus the District of Columbia, five Canadian provinces, and eight countries overseas.”
Cham Books will also be attending the Book Expo America 2013, the largest annual book trade fair in the United States that will run from May 29 to June 1, 2013 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City where an expected 20,000 publishers, booksellers, librarians, agents, and readers will come together under one roof to meet and network.
On May 30th, all BEA exhibits will open and Cham Books will have a booth to showcase all the books that the company has published to date.
Also featured will be “Stop Living In This Land, Go To The Everlasting World Of Happiness, Live There Forever,” teacher Woo Myung’s #1 Amazon best seller, published in 2012. Additional languages for this book will be available at the booth including Spanish, French, Portuguese, Chinese, and Japanese.
