2014 Karate Fiji in partnership with Crest Chicken

Karate Fiji has recommenced a partnership with Crest Chicken to the value of $3,000.

The funds will assist the organizing team for the upcoming Oceania Karate Championship which is to be held in Suva from 11-13 September.

Members of Team Fiji took to the mats in the ‘National Karate Championship supported by Sun Insurance’ which took place on 23 August at Yat Sen Hall.

Karate Fiji’s President, Mrs. Makarita Lenoa, said: “Karate Fiji welcomes the sponsorship from Crest Chicken, and is always grateful for any sponsorship received as it will support the athletes for the upcoming Oceania Championship.”

Goodman Fielder’s Marketing & Business Development Manager, Mr. Clifford Morris, said: “Crest Chicken strongly believes in the development for youth through sports, we envision Karate Fiji’s objective in growing this sport in Fiji and the region.”

“It is within the Crest and Goodman Fielder values to get better all the time and we have seen a remarkable growth for Karate in Fiji.

“We wish every success to the upcoming Oceania Karate championship.”

Teams for the Oceania event start arriving next week, with the Championship taking place at the Vodafone Arena.
