A 49 year old woman is the latest victim on our roads as the car she was travelling in veered off to the opposite line and hit a 10 wheeler truck near Fulton College this morning.
The incident said to be occurred just before 7am.
It is alleged the deceased’s husband while trying to avoid the potholes created by the ongoing road work veered off to the opposite lane and hit a 10 wheeler truck which was on its way to Suva.
Meanwhile, the body of the deceased is at the Korovou Hospital while the husband was also taken in for observation as Police investigations continue.
