AUSTRALIAN TRAVEL AGENTS GIVE BACK

Following an exciting five-day romance and wedding familiarisation trip to the tropical islands of Fiji, 17 Australian travel agents have given back to the Fijian community after a visit to the Namaka Methodist Kindergarten.

The agents visited the School on 02 May, 2013 and presented the head teacher, Ms Donu Koroitamana, with a variety of stationery, educational toys and donations which were gratefully accepted.

The School, which was damaged following tropical Cyclone Evan in December 2012, is currently attempting to raise funds to repair the kindergarten playground, as well as to purchase toys, books and stationery.

The travel agents visited Fiji to review and experience the properties that cater to the growing romance and wedding market, with part of the itinerary including a community focus.

The group also visited the Garden of the Sleeping Giant for a hosted lunch, where the travel agents were hosted by Rosie Holidays in conjunction with Senikai Spas and Taste Fiji. The travel agents were all treated to foot massages and a traditional Fiji lunch.
