Jack’s Nadi has registered an all western final showdown tomorrow afternoon at 3pm after beating the defending champions All Freights Logistics sponsored Suva by a goal in a fast paced encounter.

Jack’s Nadi marksman Rusiate Matarerega rifled a powerful free kick from twenty yards out in the 29th minute of the first half to give Jack’s Nadi the lead.

Suva came out firing in the second spell but the Jack’s Nadi defense stood rock solid led by Lekima Gonerau.

Samuela Drudru came close to scoring but Benaminio Mateinaqara dived to his feet and secured the possession.

Suva’s Kenneth Onyema was given the marching orders from refree Ravitesh Bihari after he received his second yellow card for a dangerous play.

“The team deserves a spot in the final following their performance tonight and looking at tomorrow’s game, may the best team win,” said a jubilant Jack’s Nadi coach Kamal Swamy.

Jack’s Nadi and Ba last met in the IDC final way back in 2007 in Suva.

Nasinu will take on Tailevu Naitasiri tomorrow at 9am to decide the winner for premier division followed by a formality match between Rakiraki and Lami.

Meanwhile Rewa will face All Freights Logistics Suva in the third place playoffs at 1pm tomorrow while the 2013 Vodafone Fiji Fact final will feature at 3pm between western giants Ba and Jack’s Nadi.
