Chinese nationals charged for failing to declare money

The two Chinese nationals alleged to have failed to declare foreign and local currencies on two separate occasions were produced at the Nadi Magistrates Court this morning.

While the first accused was charged yesterday afternoon and produced in Court his case was adjourned till this morning. The businessman who resides in Sigatoka is alleged to have failed to declare foreign and local currents worth more than $45,770 while at the clearance departure bound for Korea.

Meanwhile the second accused a 62 year old businessman also bound for Korea is also alleged to have failed to declare foreign and local currencies worth more than $39,000 has been charged. He has also been charged for failure to declare.
