Digicel Fiji 7s Assistant coach Timoci Wainiqolo has named players in the side that will be playing for two positions.
Setefano Cakau, Joji Raqamate, Ilai Tinai, Samisoni Viriviri and Jasa Veremalua, are the players that he named that can all play in different positions.
“We will work on training the boys in different positions. Joji Ragamate will play as play maker, I will put Ilai Tinai at rover, Viriviri to play as Winger and Halfback, Gavidi to play halfback too. It’s time for a change,” he said.
Wainiqolo also said that he wants the players to work together and support each other.
Fiji plays its first match of the Wellington tournament against Scotland at 1.50pm (Fiji time) on Friday week.
The second pool match is against Australia at 4.46pm before the last encounter against Portugal at 8.34pm.
The quarter-finals, semis and the final will be played on Saturday week.
