The A330-200 aircraft (Island of Namuka-i-Lau) involved in the tarmac incident on last Saturday in now in Brisbane for engineering assessments and repair work. It’s too early to confirm when the aircraft will be back in service.

Our teams are working hard on the ensuing flight disruptions and we are grateful to our customers for their patience in the event of delays or schedule changes. The disruptions will come at a substantial cost to Fiji Airways, but we’re unable to confirm what this will be at the present time.

Customers are advised to contact Fiji Airways on 6720888 or 3304388, or to visit http://www.fijiairways.com/flight-information/travel-alerts/ to check on their flight status over a three-day period.
