Fiji men’s hockey team lose final game

Fiji men’s hockey team lost their last match of the tournament to a strong battle against Oman,  7-3.

Fiji led halftime, 2-1. But Oman bounced back strongly in the second half where they managed to scoring goals to confirm their place as fifth place finishers while Fiji finished in sixth place.

Fiji’s goals were scored by Hector Smith, James Saqacala and Leevan Dutta.

Meanwhile, the national women’s team lost 4 nil to Kazakhstan.

They finished the World League Campaign without scoring any goals.
