Fiji Police Force rewards Officers

The senior hierarchy of the Fiji Police Force was treated to an early Christmas surprise with a visit from the Jiova Jaire Youth Club of Namadi on Thursday, December 11.

The small delegation brought smiles to the faces of all officers based at the Fiji Police Headquarters in Laucala when they sang Christmas carols and presented gifts of Christmas cake to those present.

Speaking on behalf of the Fiji Police Force, Acting Commissioner of Police Isikeli Vuniwaqa thanked the children for bringing the spirit of Christmas to the organisation at a time when it was in need.

“Thank you for keeping your Fiji Police Force in mind during your visits, because for our officers this is the time where we are all working to ensure everyone is provided a safe environment to enjoy the festive season.

“Hearing the familiar sounds of Christmas carols from you this afternoon brings has truly brightened up our day.”
