Fiji Warriors team are currently underway of preparations in spite of the poor turn out from the players in the first round of trials.
“The boys had their first fitness test early this month which was held in Suva and Sigatoka and most of the senior players didn’t turn up which is not a good sign,” Assistant coach Alifereti Mocelutu said.
Mocelutu also said they are trying to prepare the boys well in this short period of time.
“The 2nd test will be held in February and i hope the boys will improve,” he said.
The team will take on Japan on 1st March here in the country.
The venue is yet to be confirmed.
