Nadi, 21 October 2015 – Tourism Fiji opened the registrations for the ‘Wedding Show’ at the end of the annual Industry Day 2015 at the Sofitel Fiji Resort yesterday.
The Tourism Fiji Wedding Show is a consumer exhibition for anyone interested in getting married in Fiji. The event is open to the public and will be held at the Shangri-La Fijian Resort on 19-20 March 2016.
The Exhibitors will be the providers of wedding services in Fiji inclusive of; professional wedding planners, florists, film and still photographers, hair and makeup artists, entertainers, bachelor and hen party planners, and the target audience are people that are planning to have their wedding in Fiji.
Tourism Fiji Director of Events, Ms Sally Cooper says the Wedding Show aims to increase the profile of Fiji as a wedding destination.
“This event will allow consumers an opportunity to see the options available to them in Fiji as a destination that offers everything that is related to weddings. While for service providers, this is a chance to showcase their products and reach out to markets to boost their business,” Ms Cooper says.
“Tourism Fiji is glad to launch this event and keep Fiji on top of the mind for people pursing a memorable wedding experience in an island paradise,” she adds.
The two-day expo will run from 9am-5pm.
