September 10, 2015. The Fiji Rugby Union has today applauded American Football, San Francisco 49ers player Jarryd Hayne for his achievements as a professional sportsman.
The FRU is confident that Hayne’s transition from a professional Rugby League player to the NFL and all his achievements is an inspiration to our Vodafone Flying Fijians as they prepare for their first 2015 Rugby World Cup game against England.
FRU CEO Mr. Radrodro Tabualevu complimented Mr. Hayne and said “His achievement thus far is remarkable and manifests a “nothing is impossible” attitude. He is a champion and an example” Mr. Tabualevu further commented that “Jarryd is challenging all of us to strive beyond our comfort zone”.
This sends out a strong message to all representatives in different sports around in Fiji that the sky is the limit if you have the right attitude and dedication; you will achieve your goals.
The FRU congratulates “The Hayne Plane” and joins all Fijian in saluting one of their kin for his accomplishments and for being an inspiration to all upcoming sports people in Fiji.
