International judge to select Miss World Fiji

FBC is delighted that Duane Gazi, The Director of model scouting at Donald Trump’s model agency in New York will be head judge to select Fiji’s representative to the 63rd Miss World finals on June 1st

Mr. Gazi has covered every inch of the globe in his more than 20 years as a model scout and lists Botswana, Tokyo, Moscow and Rio de Janeiro as some of the cities he has scoured in search of modeling’s next superstar.

For over 10 years, Gazi has successfully navigated this role for the powerful New York boutique agency, Trump Models, owned by the iconic Donald Trump who has established his agency as one of the most formidable agencies in the world representing Vogue as well as fashion industry legends, Carmen Dell’Orefice, Jerry Hall, Carol Alt, Cheryl Tiegs and Kim Alexis to name a few.

“I have always wanted to visit Fiji as I have heard it is a beautiful country and I am very much looking forward to being a part of the national finals to select the Fijian representative to Miss World” Mr Gazi said in a statement.

Mr Gazi’s energy, enthusiasm and results place him among the top of the list of model scouts working in the world today and bodes well for the future stars of tomorrow.

He has also served on the judging panel for Donald Trump’s Miss Universe pageant as well as the famous Miss USA.

Mr Gazi’s input into selecting Fiji’s representative to Miss World also cements ties with Miss World Fiji and the iconic Donald Trump.

Miss World Fiji finals will be on June 1st, 2013 at The Pearl Fiji Resort, Pacific Harbor. There are 10 young ladies competing for the coveted crown which is currently held by Koini Vakaloloma.
