Coca Cola Games 100 meter gold medalist Beniamino Maravu, has been appointed a brand ambassador for the Vodafone brand. Making the announcement during the 19th birthday celebrations Sponsorship manager Liga Gukisuva said, “We are delighted to appoint Beni as Vodafone brand ambassador for the next 3 years.
Beni is a high achiever and a dedicated athlete who is a good role model to his peers and a perfect choice for our brand. He will certainly make a good ambassador for the Vodafone brand in Fiji. As part of the sponsorship, he will appear in Vodafone ads and various marketing collateral. “Our objective is to ensure that our athletes become the best in their chosen field through our support and partnership . We will be assisting Beni with his domestic and international preparations and commitments.
“He is an amazing young man who has overcome incredible odds to win the blue ribbon this year which is usually won by participants in the Viti Levu region. We are honored and excited to have someone with his dedication, poise and determination as our brand advocate.”
Beni who is a senior student in Saint Bedes College in Savusavu, north of Fiji shows if you have the dedication and commitment you can be the best at anything you aspire to be. He won the blue ribbon event in style this year beating highly competitive runners from Suva and West schools. He recently participated in Kenya for the Youth Championship and also preparing for the Wallis & Futuna games later this year.
