James Bolabiu commits to another year with Digicel

Wednesday 10 July – Digicel Fiji is delighted to re-sign Fiji’s top rugby referee James Bolabiu as Brand Ambassador for another year. Since signing as Brand Ambassador back in 2011, Bolabiu has contributed significantly to the profession in the country. He has continued to develop as a referee and has been a great example to many young adults aspiring to be a referee.

Bolabiu is Fiji’s most decorated rugby referee having officiated in two Rugby World Cup sevens tournaments in Dubai 2009 and Moscow this year. He has also officiated in the 2008 Tri Nations, 2008 IRB Junior World Championship, the South African Currie Cup and the IRB Sevens World Series.

“I am extremely honoured to continue with Digicel Fiji as its Brand Ambassador and wish to thank them for having confidence in me,” says Bolabiu.

“Since joining two years ago, I have had the opportunity to be a part of many promotional and community activities and Digicel Fiji in turn has supported me in my career, It has been an incredible partnership,” said Bolabiu.
