The Marist Old Boys Nadi Association is gearing up for yet another clean up initiative of the Enamanu cemetery which is based outside the Nadi town boundary.

After a successful turnout of fifty volunteers at the official launching of this venture, Marist Old Boys Association Nadi President, Josaia Rayawa has confirmed dates for the cleanup of the Enamanu cemetery to be on Saturday, March 1, as well as on Saturday, March 15.

“We are encouraging, community members relatives of those buried in the cemetery and other Marist old boys to also pitch in as this is also a means of bringing people together for a worthy cause “said Mr.Rayawa.

Mr.Rayawa added that consistent participation was important as  a total of fifteen unmarked graves and eight marked graves were discovered by volunteers during the first clean up initiative on Saturday, February 15.

Assembling of volunteers will be done at the entrance of the Chinese cemetery. An early start is hoped from 6am until 2pm.
