The National Substance Abuse Council (NSAAC) was amongst the many other sectors under The Ministry of Education, National Heritage, Culture and Arts during a western division roadshow that had taken place this week.
Due to the overwhelming response from Sigatoka, NSAAC assistant Malakai Ravoka said that a favorable response is hoped for as they have currently set up roadshows in Sigatoka, Nadi, and Tavua and will be targeting Rakiraki next.
“We are working with the Police in trying to curb the problem of drug and substance abuse by letting the people know about the effects of drugs,”said Mr. Ravoka
The five day roadshow concluded in Rakiraki on Thursday, February 13.
