Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) wishes to advise the general public in the Greater Suva Area, of upcoming traffic management changes on Kings Road at the Kinoya road intersection in Nasinu as a result of construction work that will soon take place to upgrade the existing Kinoya bus stop.

The existing bus stop situated on the Suva bound side of the Kings Road will remain closed for the duration of the construction work that is planned to take approximately 4-5 weeks. This project once completed will accommodate three buses.

During the construction period, a temporary bus bay will be marked on the furthest left lane of the three lane approach towards the Kinoya road traffic signalised intersection. Fiji Roads Authority advises all drivers and the travelling public that buses will have to disembark and board passengers at this temporary bus bay marked on this left lane carriageway.

FRA expects this temporary setup will present its own challenges including possible travel delays and sincerely apologises for the short term inconvenience this may cause. Together with our contractors we will work to ensure that disruptions are kept to a minimum.

The construction work is scheduled to commence from Saturday 17th January, 2015.
