Monday 31 March 2014 – a 76-year old retired businessman won the first prize, a Samsung Galaxy Tablet in the Colgate & Digicel Back 2 School promotion.
The Martintar, Nadi man, Dalpat Ram Lallu was happy to be picked as the winner and says the tablet will help his grandchildren with school work.
“I want to thank Colgate & Digicel for this wonderful prize, this will be of great use for my grandchildren and will help in their school work,” said Mr. Lallu.
“I put in close to 100 entries in this competition and I’m glad to have won the first prize.”
Digicel Fiji’s head of marketing, Ms. Sheryl Singh said the promotion attracted huge response and this was another way to reward customers.
Customers had to purchase Colgate products from participating supermarkets and write their name and contact details at the back of the receipt and drop it into the entry bins in the respective stores.
