November 29, 2014. A new winner will be crowned in the 2014 Pacific Cup as defending champions Esy Kool Nadi was bundled out of the tournament after going down to the hosts Australia Football Football Association (AFFA) All Stars 3-2 in a nail-biting pool encounter at the Sydney United Football Stadium earlier tonight.

The results mean that Suva is the only team from Fiji to feature in the semi-finals as they topped Pool Two being undefeated having 10 points in the bag while AFFA Sydney finished as the runners up.

First-timers Rewa has also bid good-bye to the tournament after tasting a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Queensland in its final pool match.

New Zealand Fiji Football Inc (NZFFI) All Stars and hosts AFFA All Stars have booked their semi-final spots from Pool One and the result from tonight’s qualifying battle between 4R Electrical Ba and NZFFI All Stars will complete the fixtures for the knockout stages.

The first semi-final is scheduled to kick-off at 10am while the second semi-final will take place at 11.40am tomorrow (Sunday, November 30).
