New Zealand now leads Under-20 football qualifiers

New Zealand now leads the Under-20 World Cup Qualifiers after defeating New Caledonia, 3-2, yesterday.

New Caledonia’s Jordy Xalite scored the opening goal in the 17th minute, and then Jean- Brice Wadriako scored another one in the 25th minute.

The Kiwis came from behind after Louise Fenton scored a goal, four minutes later.

Then in the 51st minute Van Elia capitalising on a ball not held properly by the New Caledonia goalie.

Fenton set up the winning goal in the 56th minute for New Zealand, with Rory scoring it.
