On Tuesday 19th March, Outrigger on the Lagoon · Fiji, Bebe Spa staff hosted a blood drive and free medical checks for the resort staff.
The drive is a part of the community projects that are hosted monthly by various departments at the Outrigger on the Lagoon · Fiji.
Project coordinator and Bebe Spa manager Praveena Dewan said, “The blood drive is our way of giving back to the community to ensure that our Sigatoka hospital blood bank has sufficient blood supplies. The free medical checks are also an innovative way for us to ensure that our staff are healthy and know their health status. As a premier resort we have to ensure that the wellness and health of our staff is also paramount.”
The free medical checks will also include pap smear tests for women.
The Outrigger on the Lagoon · Fiji is also involved in other community projects in Sigatoka such as the vegetable garden at the Sigatoka District Hospital and renovations at a number of schools in the district.
