WAIKIKI, HONOLULU, HAWAII – Twenty Outrigger Hotels and Resorts branded, affiliated and managed properties across Hawaii and the Asia-Pacific region have been awarded Certificates of Excellence by TripAdvisor, with nine of those properties receiving TripAdvisor’s Hall of Fame designation for 2015.

According to TripAdvisor, a Certificate of Excellence achievement is a direct result of consistent top reviews of the establishment from TripAdvisor travelers. Hotels and resorts that regularly receive excellent traveler reviews on TripAdvisor are recognized for their high standard of service, and only the top 10 percent of businesses listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious award.

“Earning this prestigious award from TripAdvisor is an honor for all Outrigger hosts,” said Sean Dee, executive vice president and chief marketing officer for Outrigger Enterprises Group. “We pride ourselves on providing guests with exceptional experiences and unparalleled hospitality, so we couldn’t be prouder to have received this recognition from our customers.”

To qualify for a Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher out of a possible five, as reviewed by travelers on TripAdvisor, and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months. Recipients awarded the Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame accolade are businesses that have won the Certificate of Excellence for five years in a row.

“TripAdvisor is pleased to honor exceptional hospitality businesses that have received consistent praise and recognition by travelers on the site,” said Marc Charron, president, TripAdvisor for Business.
