THE Motibhai Group has joined hands with Team Fiji to boost their performance at the 2019 Pacific Games in Samoa.

Working closely with the Fiji Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee (FASANOC), Motibhai Group which distributes Rexona personal care products in the country had previously partnered with Team Fiji last year by donating Rexona personal care products like deodorants and roll-ons to athletes and officials who represented the country at the Commonwealth Games in Australia.

Prior to that, the company also joined hands with Team Fiji whereby the National 7s team brought back gold from the Rio Olympics in Brazil in 2016.

“We have once again partnered with FASANOC and Team Fiji by providing all athletes and officials with Rexona deodorants and roll-ons to be used during the 2019 Pacific Games,” Motibhai Group marketing manager Abraham Gomes said.

“With 24 nations and almost 3,500 athletes converging to Apia next month, our little donation will go a long way in boosting team morale and definitely make a difference in performance,” Mr Gomes added.

“We are proud that Rexona, with its unique symbol, the iconic tick and its slogan: ‘It won’t let you down’, is back to help our national team.

“So by using this world leading brand which has closely been associated with global sporting stars, Rexona will not let our athletes down.”

The company presented 445 packs of Rexona products to the contingent.

While receiving the timely donation, FASANOC sponsorship and marketing manager Ritesh Ratiram said they are grateful to Motibhai Group for providing them with the kind donation.

“Rexona is a leading world brand and its assistance will help athletes perform well,” Mr Ratiram said.

“We thank Motibhai Group for their continued assistance towards our athletes at such events.”
