PLANNED POWER SHUTDOWN IN SIGATOKA WILL CAUSE TEMPORARY WATER SUPPLY DISRUPTION

The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) advises its customers living in some parts of Sigatoka that there will be a temporary disruption in water supply on Sunday 17th August, 2014 from 7.00am till 5.00pm.

Impacted areas include:

  •  Malevu Village and Korotogo areas
  •  Part of Olosara
  •  Korotogo Village

This disruption in supply is due to a planned power shutdown which has been scheduled for the Sigatoka area.

The Authority advises its customers residing in these areas to store water and use it wisely during this temporary disruption in supply.

However, water carts will be servicing the affected areas until supply is restored. Supply is expected to normalise by 6pm, Sunday (17/08).

The Authority highly regrets inconvenience caused to its customers.
