Stabbing in Kadavu
A 41 year old man is in Police custody at the Vunisea Police Station for allegedly stabbing two women to death on Sunday afternoon.
The first victim who is the suspects wife aged 37 years and her mother aged 60 years were both stabbed by the suspect.
A 16 year-old student who was also stabbed in the incident is admitted at the Vunisea Hospital.
The bodies are being kept at the Vunisea Hospital Mortuary whilst police are continuing the investigations on the case.
Taveuni Assault
A 44 year old man is in police custody in Taveuni police Station for allegedly assaulting a 47 year old man to death on early Sunday morning.
The deceased was drinking frog with a friend when he was allegedly assaulted by the suspect.
In another incident four people are also remanded in police custody after they were alleged to have assaulted a 36 year-old man.
The man was injured and now admitted at the Taveuni Hospital.
