ALLEGED DRUG FIND PROGRESS
As investigators await analysis tests on the parcel of kava found at the Nadi International Airport alleged to have contained illicit drugs, a man has been taken in for questioning.
Police have confirmed that the man was the receiver of the parcel and investigators took him in for questioning in Suva this morning.
Meanwhile arrangements are being made to have all the alleged drugs and other substances found during a raid last week brought to Koronivia for testing.
MISSING FOUR FOUND
The four fishermen who went out fishing since Tuesday and were supposed to have returned by early this morning have been rescued.
The four were rescued at the Naviti shores at 11am by a passing fishing boat owned by a man from Rakiraki, Ba.
All passengers are well and safe.
Police thanked members of the public and the media for the quick dissemination of information.
