Alleged Fatal (Waimalika)

The driver who is alleged to have caused the death of a 26 year old woman at the weekend is still admitted and is yet to be questioned.

The 68yr old driver and the 58yr old passenger in the other vehicle remain admitted at the Lautoka Hospital however in stable condition.

Investigators are awaiting approval from the Health authorities before questioning the 30 year old driver.

Alleged Illicit Drugs

Investigations continue and no further arrests have been made in relation to the three remaining cases of alleged illicit drugs.

Investigators are still awaiting the comprehensive test results conducted on the remaining parcels alleged to have contained illicit drugs found at the Nadi International Airport.

Nayans Burglary

The search continues for two men allegedly involved in a Supermarket robbery on Sunday night at the Sports City Complex.

The alleged incident occurred sometime between 2100hrs, 30/03/14 – 0845hrs, 31/03/14 at the Nayans Supermarket, Sports City.

The two forcefully made their way through the back door before breaking open the two safes and took off with more than $70,000 cash and assorted items all to the value of more than $91,000.

Police are following a few strong leads and anyone with information that could help solve the case is requested to contact their nearest community post or police station.
