This was the second title win this year for the Men in Blue as they had earlier claimed the famous Fiji Bitter Nawaka Sevens after reaching the finals of the Fiji Bitter Marist Sevens last month.

The team is comprised of police officers and well-known rugby players such as Samisoni Viriviri, Ulaiasi Lawavou, Apisalome Waqatabu, Meli Kurisaru.

Acting Police Commissioner Ravi Narayan congratulated the team and management and encourged them to continue with their awareness program of Policing Fiji through Rugby.

He said the senior management of the Fiji Police Force will continue to rally behind its sevens team in its awareness program.

The Police sevens team will travel to Samoa to participate in the Independence Day Invitation sevens later this month.
