Vodafone Fiji 7s Coach, Ben Ryan has today confirmed that 19 players will march back into camp this week.
Ryan was to have named the 16 member team for the Wellington and Las Vegas 7s tournaments on Friday January 23, but has decided not to.
“There have been some knocks and niggling injuries with some of the players, thus the reason they are all marching back into camp.”“The players have been very competitive for positions and a lot of hard work and hard yards have been put in by them” Ryan said.
The 19 will include France based Samisoni Viriviri and Benito Masilevu who are expected to jet into the country on Monday.The only exclusion in the squad is Vatemo Taniharava who has been released to play for the Daveta team at the Darwin 7s Tournament in Australia.
The Vodafone Fiji 7s team will be announced by Ryan at the Uprising Resort in Pacific Harbor this Friday.
