Nadi is continually visited by cruise liners from other countries and is yet to expect more in the coming weeks after a new ship, Sun Princess is in town.
Port Denarau Retail and Commercial Centre General Manager, Aysha Koya said this was the ship’s second stop, and majority of the people in the ship are Australian and the rest are from other countries.
“The ship’s first stop was at Suva. Now that the tourists have arrived, they are scheduled to visit the highlands of Nadi and South Sea Islands,” she said.
Koya said they are basically here to explore the places in Nadi.
“They will be visiting a lot of places, and today most of them were at the Nadi Town doing some shopping at handicraft outlets and a lot more places,” Koya said.
The ship is accompanying a total of 2026 passengers.
