Komo faced the reigning premiers and current first placed cricketing powerhouse Yadrana, in what was sure to be a defining match of the season. Yadrana went out to bat first, but due to strong bowling from Komo and an impressive display of fielding had them all out for just 71 runs. In reply, Komo chased down the total inside just 11 overs and with the loss of just 3 wickets, crowning themselves as the perpetual cup winners.

Komo now sit atop the ladder on 54 points with Yadrana trailing closely in second place on 46.5 points.

“The players were happy and deserved the win after the hard work they put in training.” Mr Lesuma said.

He finished by saying with four more challenges remaining, the team hopes to remain unbeaten.
