Vodafone Fiji has announced their support in sponsoring the Rotuma Sports day this year.

The sponsorship cheque and contribution in kind was handed over to the Fiji Rotuman’s Sports Council at the Vodafone Head Quarters in Tamavua today.

Vodafone Fiji’s Sponsorship Manager, , said that Vodafone is proud to come on board to support the Rotuma Sports Day. We believe this sponsorship will bring all the Rotumans of Fiji to come together and enjoy a day of bonding through Sports, Food and Cultural activities.

We anticipate this sports gathering to be a day of fun filled day for all the Rotumans of Fiji and we wish them the very best in this year’s Sports Day.

Our Sports Day this year will consist of teams from Vatukoula, Nadi, Lautoka, three teams here in Suva with two teams from our island home as we get together to take part in sports like Volleyball, Netball, 15’s rugby and touch rugby. We’ve had few players that came through our ranks to represent the National teams, and to name a few, Seforosa Munivai (Netball) Hanisoko Moeava (Volleyball) Mesulame Metuisela (Volleyball) Leroi Atalifo (Rugby) Marka Kafoa (Rugby) and a lot more that has raised the Fiji flag higher.
Vinaka Vakalevu to Vodafone once again.

The games will be held at the Suva Grammar grounds on the 17th of October.
