The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) has noted the domestic media coverage of water related issues around the country recently and further reiterates its commitment to deal with such challenges.
WAF engineers and technicians are working closely to assess systems facing problem.
The Authority is trying its level best to attend to these areas urgently to curb interruptions in the water and have fully restored the functionality of the system.
WAF is also calling upon customers to report to the Authority if any leaks are identified which can be fixed to maximize the yield of water in the system.
However there are long term infrastructure programs that are looked into to provide effective and efficient water supply services.
Meanwhile water carting is an immediate solution and is a supplement supply to those customers residing in outlying or elevated areas that experience erratic supplies.
Any inconveniences caused to the customers is regretted by WAF.
