Savusavu customers continue to receive tap water but only during the daytime to conserve water where yield has been reduced.

Those living in the rural areas that are experiencing a water shortage are being provided withfree water carting.  The Authority is working closely with the Commissioner Western to supply water to those affected areas.

On Taveuni

Low water pressure continues to affect areas in the north of the island with some water carting required.

In the south water carting continues as the Authority works to install three desalinization plants next month that should satisfy that area’s water requirements.
