Wyndham Resort Denarau Island has been announced as sponsor of the Sportsperson of the Year Award at Fiji’s first Disability Awards.

The Disability Gala Awards and Concert of Hope will be held on March 9th 2019 in Suva at the Holiday Inn. All monies raised will be given to the United Blind Persons of Fiji (UBPFA) in association with the Fiji National Council of Disabled Persons (FNCDP).

“At Wyndham we are committed to supporting the communities in which we operate and we are immensely proud to be part of this inaugural event to sponsor the Sportsperson of the Year Award. The men and women nominated have all shown incredible tenacity and courage in having the self-belief to overcome adversity and compete in the sporting arena. They are exceptional role models and we hope these awards will assist in promoting inclusion while helping to bring hope and opportunities to more people with disabilities,” said Brad Downton, General Manager, Wyndham Resort Denarau Island.
