Bollywood show spice-up in Fiji

The stage for the biggest Bollywood show is all set to rock and roll in Fiji this week as famous stars arrives in country tomorrow, January 6.

Prominent celebrities Tushaar Kapoor, Comedy nights with Kapil show comedian Ali Asgar and Zarine Khan and Lucky string singer arrives tomorrow while choreographer Ganesh Hiwakar is already in Fiji training local dancers for the two shows.

Local artists who will also be performing are dual voice singer Abdul, Masti Dance Group, Muanikoso Dance Group, Elena Baravilala, Eddie Wilson, and magician who will be performing during the interval.

Show promoter Anesh Mishra said everything is all set to go as they are also anticipating a huge turnout for the two shows.

“We are expecting a huge turnout for the two shows as this will certainly be a new era for Fiji with Bollywood Stars directly from India performing on our local stage.

“Spending some cash for shows of this kind will be really worth it. If you take photos with them, this will become a lifetime album for you.

“If you decide to see these stars in India, you will spend thousands of dollars to meet them only if you are lucky. Here, you can meet them at dinner, can be entertained by them, right in front of you.

“This is once in a life time opportunity for all of us. All we can say is ‘do not miss this opportunity’ – the best Bollywood event taking place right here. You, your families and friends can talk about this show for a long time that you have met Bollywood stars or you have seen the entertainment right in front of your eyes.”

Mr Mishra also said they will be having private dinner with Bollywood stars, sponsors and there are few tickets available for the public to be part of the night with the dinner tickets available at a price of $120.

The first of the Bula Desi Bollywood show will be on Friday, January 9, at the Vodafone Arena in Suva while the second show will be at Prince Charles Park in Nadi on Saturday, January 10.
