Four Fijians have been named in the extended 18-man East-Asia Pacific (EAP) squad to contest the International Cricket Council (ICC) EAP Quad Series in Australia this August.
Senior Cricket Fiji team members Sekove Ravoka, Tukana Tavo and Maciu Gauna were all named, as was 16-year old Saimoni Tuitoga. Saimoni will make his debut representing his country next month, as a part of Fiji’s U19 side that will contest the ICC EAP U19 Championships on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
The ICC EAP Quad Series will run from August 12 to 17 between the EAP side, Papua New Guinea, the Australian Indigenous Team and the Australian Armed Services team.
The final 14-man squad will be confirmed next week.
